Our History
Serving Bronx County – The Bronx Small Business Development Center began operations in 1987, we’ve been housed on Lehman campus since 2000 the expert advisors of the Bronx SBDC have worked directly with 19,752 businesses, helping them to invest $231,528,825 in the area’s economy, and create or save 8,178 jobs.

MVP Lifeguards
MVP Lifeguards, a company specializing in American Red Cross Aquatics and Lifeguard Training, reached out to Bronx SBDC advisor Dr. Patrick Saul for assistance in expanding their certification portfolio. The company, which offers a range of services including lifeguard training, swimming lessons, and professional coaching, had already obtained NYC certification, which enabled them to secure valuable city contracts and facilitate business growth.
